What's a Pysanka Mosaic?
The Ukrainian culture (and many others) make traditional handwritten eggs known as Pysanka. These decorated eggs were regarded as ancient talisman with hidden narrative and powers. Our studio collects these works of art from artists all around the world, consisting of various origins, colors, and designs. We as a studio intentionally break these pysanky, only to re-piece them back together into contemporary works that can be appreciated and interpreted both in and outside of the Ukrainian culture.
